According to a study conducted by Trendbüro Hamburg, 89 percent of all consumers place high value on a sustainable and environmentally-friendly production of goods. So it is not entirely surprising that 400 participants applied for the first edition of the Green Product Award with their forward-looking ideas. A top-class jury announced the selection of the 200 best entries in the categories 'work life', 'children', 'lifestyle', 'mobility', 'electronics', 'consumer goods', 'home accessories' and 'freestyle'. A subsequent vote by the audience resulted in seven winners whose ideas will now become reality.

As interactive partner, BLITZEN developed and programmed the software architecture behind the award and provided technical support for the audience voting via Facebook, Twitter and the website.
